Maureen and Sue also desire to equip women with the irrefutable power of God’s Word regarding who a Jesus-follower is and all that He has provided for them through His death, resurrection, and the Holy Spirit’s indwelling.

Maureen Broderson is an ordained minister, and after serving for decades in pastoral care and teaching Equipping Classes at The Church on the Way, Van Nuys, CA, she now serves on the pastoral ministry team at New Life Foursquare Church in Harbor City, CA. She’s also a member of the faculty of El Camino Christian College and has previously been a professor for The King’s University and Seminary. Additionally, Maureen is a certified John Maxwell Team coach, speaker, trainer, and certified Human Behavior consultant with Personality Insights, Inc. She has recently authored Victorious Spiritual Warfare, So Simple, Grandma Can Do It.
Maureen and Lance have been married for 45 years and have two wonderful adult daughters, who are each married to devoted, godly men. In this season of life, Maureen’s most cherished role is that of “MeMa to her three adorable, funny, and brilliant grandsons. That may sound a bit biased, but it’s true! Sue Boldt and her husband, Randy, have been in pastoral ministry for over forty years, and they teach a minister with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) in Taipei, Taiwan. Sue is also an ordained minister, retreat, and event speaker who writes daily for her devotional blog, social media, and Bible study plans on the YouVersion app. She has authored several Bible studies and devotionals, including Refresh: Transformed Thoughts, Emotions, and Lives; Pneuma Life: Living in the Holy Spirit’s Overflow; Held in His Hands: A Miracle Story & Encouragement for Your Healing; Thirty Days of Thanksgiving; and Unwrapping Christmas.
Sue’s passions are her amazing hubby, her three crazy-wonderful kids, and their spouses, her seven adorable grandchildren, enjoying the southern California sun, and, first and foremost, following Jesus with all her heart.

Last weekend, I was privileged to attend an Equip Women’s Conference. The Holy Spirit was present, God’s Word was taught with practical excellence, and Jesus’ beloved Bride was ministered to.
Throughout that time, I felt like my heart was being healed. The fruit of this work has been a settled peace [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him]. By His grace, this peace has so filled my heart that the anxiety I had been battling and the heaviness and weariness I had been carrying are gone. Thank You, Jesus!!!
