Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...As this day and week begins, I know already that I must keep my heart and mind stayed intentionally focused upon You. This time of year, with the hustle and bustle of the wonderful Christmas season can be so distracting! Instead, I am setting everything aside and sitting in silence for just a few minutes ____ (take time to do this) so that I can sense the Holy Spirit’s presence filling and overflowing me. I am Yours. You are God indeed. In Your Wonderful Name, King Jesus, I seal this prayer and begin my day. Amen!

Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...It’s the start of the busy holiday season, even with all the craziness of the world swirling all around. Nevertheless, You are greater than it all! You are my safe haven and I pray especially today for opportunities to pray healing for the sick: my family, friends, or strangers that You bring my way. I thank You for the power of the manger and the cross! You came to set every person free in your almighty love and may Your love pour through me today. In Your Name Above All Names, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Prayer - December 2, 2023

Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus…As this Christmas season takes off, I pray to keep my thoughts and heart firmly fixed on You. I know that even today there will be many distractions at work, home, school, and the marketplace. I am sure I will be tempted to pick up my phone about every five minutes, however, I instead choose Your peace, Your calm, and Your joy today. I pray for Holy Spirit anointing to lead my every step and to speak through me to others who need Your healing, deliverance, or salvation. I belong to You, Lord, and it is in Your Majestic Name I pray! Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus...I am so excited for this beautiful season celebrating Your birth! I pray that multitudes will come to a saving knowledge of You during this time, especially these folks who are near and dear to me _______ (take the time to name them). I pray each day, as I quiet my heart before You to hear Your voice and read Your Word, that the Holy Spirit will help me to prioritize my every task. That interruptions won’t interrupt my peace and joy, and that I will be a light to everyone I meet. I am Yours! In Your Magnificent Name, I pray, Lord Jesus. Amen!

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.

Dear Lord Jesus…As I position myself before You in humble surrender—exchanging my plans and will for Yours—what peace and joy fill my heart to overflowing. Only Holy Spirit can do that! In these uncertain times with war in so many places, my heart and mind are fixed upon You. As I pray in the Spirit today, may my prayers be right on target as I lift up my family, neighborhood, nation, and the nations of the world. May I be a conduit of Your goodness to many today as Your goodness pursues my life. In the Name of the Everlasting King, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...I am so grateful that You are Lord of the nations. You told us the world would always be in a precarious place, especially as time marches on toward Your coming. Yet I am so grateful to know, that no matter what the current news may be, You are Lord of all. Today, before I face my daily tasks at work, school, home, and the marketplace, I surrender afresh these concerns to Your Lordship ______ (name them and release them into His care). As Your presence through the Holy Spirit overflows my heart in this moment with joy, peace, and power, I am so grateful to be Your child! In Your Matchless Name, King Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...At the start of this week and this holiday season, I want to live every second of every day led by the Holy Spirit Who indwells me! Help me to stay focused, alert, and bring every thought captive to You and Your Word as You lead my every step. When I don’t sense Your felt peace when I desire to turn a certain direction, I won’t move forward. I am so grateful for Holy Spirit baptism and may He pour through me to others today. Let’s go! In Your Incomparable Name, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...I am SO grateful that Your ways and thoughts are so much higher than anything I could ever come up with. As the Christmas holiday season begins, I lean into Your Spirit’s leading. I pray to see the miraculous as He leads me through my days—who He wants me to speak to or pray for, and His direction to guide my steps and every decision. You are the mountain I stand upon. And You make my stand strong in the power of Your might. I’m ready! In Your Name Above All Names, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father…Holy is Your name. You are able to meet my every longing, need, and purpose. There isn’t anything You cannot do. I only desire Your will today, and so I pray down the power of Heaven’s rule in these situations _________ (name them) in the Sovereign Name of the Lord Jesus! I surrender all of my preconceptions about how things should turn out. YOU KNOW BEST, and as I trade my plans for Yours, You never fail to go beyond what I could have dreamed up or asked for. Dear Lord Jesus…I am ready for this day, all because of You! I am so thankful that You have called me Your own and that You completely surround my coming and going. I thank You that fear is no longer a part of my life and that Your kingdom, not any kingdom or nation on the earth, is the one I love and serve first and foremost. Please work through me today to be a light and encouragement to everyone I meet, seeing Your Holy Spirit’s supernatural gifts of prayer language, prophecy, discernment, or any of them, displayed through my life to bring others into Your embrace. In Your Extravagant Name, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father…This week, as so many of us look forward to Thanksgiving, I pray to be a vessel of gratitude to You. My heart is overflowing, and I am especially thankful for these things __________ (take time to name some of them, and share in the comments below, too!). I know that You are at work. As the world seems to be falling apart, my eyes are steadfast upon You and Your Word. May the Holy Spirit work through me with His gifts and fruit, to continue praying for the miraculous, because there is so much need today. I am ready! In the Name of the One and Only, Lord Jesus. Dear Heavenly Father...Though my thoughts seem scattered, my life is a little too over-scheduled, and this day is already brimming with deadlines to meet and things that must be done – I put You first. Holy Spirit, please quiet my heart and enable me to bring every one of my thoughts captive to You and Your plans alone. Even now, I take authority over this day and bring it under Your Lordship. Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus…Thank You for leading the way! However, I realize that I must choose to follow. How often have I thought that I know a better path than You? Honestly, what was I thinking? When has that ever worked? Or even more, how much have I missed out on that You had for me? No more. My soul (heart and mind) and my actions follow You alone. Under the covering of Your love, I am surrounded by Your power and presence no matter what situations surround me. So once again, I start this day by surrendering completely to You. Everything. I am so ready and in Your Incomparable Name, King Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…Oh, how I love that You awaken me each morning with a fresh word to my heart to see me through the day. I know that You are at work in these difficult situations that I have been seeking You about and battle praying for _______ (name them). I live in perfect peace knowing that You have every answer and I once again surrender my preconceived ideas about what you should do! My trust is totally in You as I lean into the love and power through the Holy Spirit. In Your Name Above All Names, Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I begin this week knowing that You hold my every moment, hour, and day within Your hands. You provide for my every need, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, and I am so very grateful! As I take this moment of quiet with You, I wait upon Your Holy Spirit to overwhelm and fill my soul with Your presence. I pray for a fresh word from Your Word as I open it expectantly. Dear Lord Jesus…I am so thankful that fear no longer rules my life all because of You! Today, I clothe myself in Your presence and stand firmly upon Your unfailing Word; I am safe. No matter what the world, the enemy, or even my own failings try to do to trip me up, my gaze is higher upon You. You truly are my Rock, and Your love is my firm foundation. I love You, Lord. And in Your Almighty Name, I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father…It is the end of the week and I desire to finish well. I step aside and ask that the Holy Spirit will completely take over my every thought, word, and action. I pray to be a vessel that brings healing and encouragement to everyone I meet in my workplace, home, school, or marketplace. And I ask that You direct my steps to specifically pray for someone’s healing today, either mentally, emotionally, or physically. Your love never fails. Your love heals. I am ready. In the Name Above All Names, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I come to You today with a lot of people and circumstances laying heavy upon my heart. Yet, as my voice rises in adoration, worship, and thanksgiving for all the miracles You have already done in my life, and how You have answered my past prayers so far beyond what I was asking for, my faith rises as well. Today, I lay these people and situations into Your almighty hands _______ (name them, taking time to hear what He has to say about each of them). My trust is in You! Dear Lord Jesus…How grateful I am for Your provision! I start this day knowing that everything that concerns me is already known by You. May everything I participate in bring You glory as move through my day. As world events continue to unfold, please direct my prayers for all people everywhere to give their lives to You. I am ready.
