Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus…Oh, how grateful I am for Your rescue! As I begin this day, I consider the many blessings You have given me _______ (do this and give thanks!). Most of all, I am so thankful for the freedom Your power and grace have granted me to remove the spirit of shame from my life. Only You could do this, Lord! What joy released, what healing overflowing, and what transformation the Holy Spirit has brought in and through my life. I pray to start this day well, in Your Name That Alone is Exalted, King Jesus. Amen!

God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.

Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus…I am so grateful that my life is secure in You! How do people do it without You? Oh, Lord, please work through me today to reach as many as I can for Your kingdom, no matter if it is just a smile, a kind word, or Your Spirit leads me to pray boldly for healing or deliverance. I am ablaze for You, and I sense Your leading already as I begin to walk through this day. Here I am, Lord. And in Your All-Powerful Name, I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Morning Prayer ~ September 1, 2024

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...I humble myself before Your majestic throne today. Words cannot express how thankful and grateful I am for Your transforming power. Nothing in my life has been the same since I asked You to take over everything about me completely. Most of all, the feelings of shame and guilt that I carried for years have been completely removed by the power of Your Word and the Holy Spirit’s delivering strength. Truly, you have made me radiant and may Your love alone radiate through me to today toward everyone I meet. Again, I can’t thank You enough. In the Name of the One Who Alone Can Remove Shame, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus…Oh, the wonder of Your amazing and extravagant grace! Its power to free me from the torment of guilt and shame and its effective working by the Holy Spirit to transform my life and call me to greater freedom, love, ministry, and intimacy with You has brought me new purpose. Who knew? Who knew that Your platform of grace is my platform to stand upon, especially when I fail. From its launching pad, strongholds are breaking within me, and I am finally learning to walk in all You have for me. So, Lord, I pray Your grace pours through me today to others. In Your Marvelous Name, King Jesus. Amen!

…that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus…I find such rest in You and Your Word. When You say that You will do all the heavy (and light!) lifting in my life if I simply let go my cares and trust You, You have never failed to come through! How many times have I gotten in Your way, delayed Your plans, or disrupted them altogether, simply because I think I know what is best? Far too many times. Today and every day, I choose You. I lay my burdens down, trust you to open and close doors, and give me discernment in every situation. I am ready! In Your Name, Which is Filled with All Grace, King Jesus. Amen!

Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers;
The snare is broken, and we have escaped.

Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father…Oh, how I love that You fight my battles for me! When I am tempted to get irritated, frustrated, angry, or hurt when I am wronged, or I see injustice of any kind, You are the one who steps in and holds my heart. You are the One who knows that my battles truly originate in the spiritual realm and with any person. I ask for Holy Spirit discernment as I move through my day in powerful prayer, binding any demonic activity set against me or those I love in the power of Lord Jesus’ Name! I do that now! Amen…

And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the LORD to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's.”

Dear Lord Jesus...I worship and adore You, my Rock, my Strength, and My Fortress ______ (take time to offer your own words of praise). As another day begins with You, I can’t wait to see what adventures You have in store for me. From the ordinary to the extraordinary, I ask for Your Spirit’s help to keep renewing my mind, healing my body, and transforming my emotions to align with Yours. I want to live in Your Shalom (health, wholeness, wellness, goodness, prosperity of soul, and peace). May everything I do bring You glory as You hold this day in Your hands. Your Kingdom come, Lord! And in Your All-Sufficient Name, I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer… 

Dear Lord Jesus...I sense your presence in my deepest waters and in the midst of Your greatest triumphs in my life. I am beginning to understand how Paul could say, it didn't matter what was going on in my life -- You are greater still. I love all that You are speaking to me and Your Holy Spirit’s working in me. Yes, Lord! Sometimes You make things uncomfortable to remind me to keep my heart and mind on You! I am all Yours and as this day begins, may I brag about You to everyone I encounter. In the Name of the Good Shepherd, King Jesus. Amen!

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him,

Dear Lord Jesus...Everything in my life is better when I daily surrender to You. Please start this day hearing the adoration and praise from my heart and lips _______ (take time to worship and be drawn into His felt presence). I pray that everything around me that looks ordinary will become extraordinary as Your Kingdom power reigns over and through my life in the Holy Spirit. As I read Your Word today, I pray for a fresh word from Your heart to mind (a “rhema” word) guiding my steps and feeding and encouraging my soul. I am Yours. In Your Marvelous Name, King Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...Thank You for Your continual invitation to rest in You. Even in the most hectic and over-scheduled seasons of my life, when I lay down every care, refuse to worry but trust You instead, and don’t do anything without the felt presence of the Holy Spirit, You have never failed to move on my behalf. In You, less truly is more. Less of me and more of You! May the rest of this day, month, year, and the remainder of my days be lived in Your rest. In Your All-Encompassing Name, I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Oh, Lord Jesus! How grateful I am that You dwell in me through the Person of the Holy Spirit. In the authority and power of this truth—Your Word—anxiety has no place in my life today! Even if my mind, emotions, or body want to tell me that I have a lot to be worried about, Your Word and the power of Your Spirit within me quiet the storm. As I wait on You today, may the peace flooding my soul in this moment spill over into the lives of everyone I meet. When they see me, I pray they see YOU. I am so ready for work, school, home, and the marketplace. And in Your Majestic Name, I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Heavenly Father...As I begin my day, I worship and adore You, my Rock and Fortress. Father, I pray for Holy Spirit direction and leading in all that I put my hand, heart, and mind to as I move through my daily duties and as You open up new and wonderful opportunities. I put on Your spiritual armor (Eph.6) that You have lavishly provided me: truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the authority of Your Word ignited by the Spirit’s breath. I am ready, lead the way! In the Name of the One and Only Lord Jesus. Amen!

For You are my rock and my fortress;

Morning Prayer ~ August 21, 2024

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...I begin this day reminded that anything I try to accomplish by my own human efforts is simply a waste of time! So, in this moment, I quiet my heart and invite the Holy Spirit to overwhelm my mind and heart (soul), and lead me throughout this day at home, work, school, or the marketplace. Only He can do anything eternal without anger, malice, anxiety, or worry, and I surrender to His felt and experienced presence in and through my life now _______ (take time to invite the Holy Spirit’s overflow). I seal this prayer in Your Almighty Name, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...Oh, I am so thankful to wake up and live another day! In these troubled times, filled with a lot of anxiety and worry, I am so grateful that You make all the difference. I worship and adore You, and proclaim that You are Lord of my life as I surrender afresh to You _________ (take time to do this, releasing everything to Him!). I pray today to live for Your kingdom alone. Your purposes are my purpose, and I am ready to take your love to everyone I meet today. In Your Name Above All Names, King Jesus. Amen!

Summer Break!

Hi Everyone!

I am taking a month-long summer break starting today! It is Randy's and my 50th Anniversary year, and we are celebrating overseas and then again with family here in the States. I will return with Morning Prayers and devotionals on Monday, August 19th.

I pray you all have a wonderful summer season, seek Lord Jesus ardently, open His Word daily, walk in Spirit fullness, and keep His Kingdom alone first in your life!

Morning Prayer ~ July 13, 2024

Morning Moment of Prayer…  

Dear Lord Jesus… Here I am! Your beyond reason love never changes, and it relentlessly pursues me. I have such comfort in this knowledge, as this week winds down. No matter what happens, Your name is higher, and Your Word will prevail. I LOVE to seek Your face, and You never fail to cause my heart to rejoice. Today, I battle-pray for those I know laboring under chronic illness ________ (name them). As I am seated in You in heavenly places, I have no authority of my own. Yet, You have called me to pray and speak healing for those in need in the power of your name. I do this now, be healed in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth ______ (name the folks)! Amen.

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...This summer morning I quiet my mind before You. I am SO grateful to be Your child. I am SO grateful to be absolutely forgiven. I am SO grateful to be filled with Your Holy Spirit! Today I choose and refuse to be critical, offended, or impatient. Yes, by Your Spirit who empowers me, I cooperate with Him to walk in His fruit (love, joy, peace, patience...). I am SO grateful that this is possible and that is only because of Your work in my life. I am ready to begin this day. In Your Name Above All Names, King Jesus. Amen.

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...In this quiet moment, I center my thoughts and attention upon You. With so much noise coming at me from all sides, I realize the importance of thinking about what I am thinking about! Only Your Word matters, and today I pray to live in the Holy Spirit’s love leading others to Your saving grace and healing and delivering power. I pray especially for these folks in my circle of influence who haven’t yet responded to You ______ (name them). Please cause me to live selflessly for them, moving in Your supernatural gifts (1 Cor. 12:4-11) so they may come into Your embrace. In You Wonder-Full Name, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...With all that is going on in the world, from crazy climate, war, hunger, famine, and violence, Your peace still overflows my being as I wait on You in these few moments _______ (take time to be still). How grateful I am that Your eye is on me! That you even know my name and the number of hairs (or lack thereof!) on my head is such a wonder and causes me to fall even more in love with You. Today, I surrender these aspects of my life that would distract me with worry or care ________ (name these concerns). I know You hold each of these! In Your Name that is Supreme Over All, King Jesus. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus...I look to You and You alone today. I thank You for Your felt presence through the Holy Spirit Who is strengthening me as I quiet my heart and mind before You _______ (take time to do this!). I am so grateful for this summer season to be restored and refreshed by You and Your Word. Please help me take every advantage to be filled and fed from what You have spoken and may I hear You clearly as You highlight those passages that are meant just for me currently (those powerful “rhema” words the Holy Spirit provides to each of us). I am so ready for this brand-new day, all because of You! In Your Name Above All Names, King Jesus. Amen!
