Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...With all that is taking place all around, my heart and mind are set upon You. In the secret place of Your presence, I sense the Holy Spirit overwhelming me and filling me with Your peace, love, and joy. Truly, when I abide on You—when all my priorities at home, work, school, marketplace, and ministry are centered on You as my preeminent pursuit, everything else simply falls into place. And those assaults of the enemy? In the power of Your Name, Lord Jesus, he is completely defeated. And it is in Your Name, Lord, I pray. Let’s go! Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…At the beginning of this day, my trust is in You. What freedom the Holy Spirit has brought to my life as I drink in Your Word and sense Your presence setting me from years of stuff that I have held onto and that have held me! Today, as world events could cause anxiety, Your peace is the rock upon which I stand. Today I offer You my gratefulness for all Your faithfulness in my life, and I pray t for an opportunity to bless someone in your name! In Your Wondrous Name, I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father…With turmoil, war, and violence surrounding the globe, my heart and mind are steadfastly focused upon You. Today, I lift up those who are held hostage, those who are injured, those who have lost loved ones, and all whose lives have been completely upended on both sides of every conflict. I focus especially is this part of the world ______ (pray as the Holy Spirit leads you). I declare Your kingdom come, Your will be done! Please help me to walk prayerfully and soberly today in Your felt presence. I surrender my all to You. In Lord Jesus’ Sovereign Name. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father…Today, I come humbly to Your almighty throne. I bow my heart before You and ask for Your hand in everything I do. I surrender my plans for Yours, especially this one ____________ (name it). I will lean hard into Your grace and trust You completely for Your timing in this matter. Please help me, Holy Spirit, to not run ahead of You and help me to pause to hear what You are saying in any decision I need to make. I cancel every work of darkness against my family, community, and me in the powerful Name Above All Names, Lord Jesus! Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus...How grateful I am for the Holy Spirit’s work in my life! As I wait in Your presence He reveals Your love to me, surrounding me and overflowing within me. With His insight, He breathes fresh life into my spirit and heals my soul and body as I open Your Written Word. Today, I ask for His leading in everything I do. I pray to guard my thoughts, refusing any unhealthy or negative mindsets that would draw me away from what You are doing. I lean wholly upon the Holy Spirit’s strength, wisdom, and encouragement. Dear Lord Jesus...Oh, how grateful I am for new beginnings in You! There is nothing have done in my past, or I can do in my future where Your grace is not greater still. Yet this vast platform of grace is not for me to continue in my unhealthy ways, but to find true freedom in You. Thank You for this brand-new day. A new day to see Your miracles, walk in Your love, and minister in the authority of Your Almighty Name. And it is Your Name I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Thank you for all you have done for me as I take a minute to recount all your blessings in my life ________ (take the time to do this). Most of all, I will be forever thankful that You came for my rescue. Yes, indeed. Rescue from sin, self, stuff, and everything in between. You alone have set my feet on solid ground, and Your healing work in my thoughts and emotions continues as I feast upon Your Word and abide in Your felt presence. I am ready for this day! Dear Lord Jesus…As I position myself before You in humble surrender—exchanging my plans and will for Yours—what peace and joy fill my heart to overflowing. Only Holy Spirit can do that! In these uncertain times with war in so many places, my heart and mind are fixed upon You. As I pray in the Spirit today, may my prayers be right on target as I lift up my family, neighborhood, nation, and the nations of the world. May I be a conduit of Your goodness to many today as Your goodness pursues my life. In the Name of the Everlasting King, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father...I know You are with me. The prayer requests I lift up to Your throne _______ (name your top three concerns) I leave COMPLETELY in Your almighty care. I call Your Kingdom come in each of these lives and/or circumstances, and I will not try to figure out how You will answer these requests. I cancel every work of the enemy in these situations and declare Jesus is LORD and in His Majestic Name, I pray. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...You truly are the way-maker! Honestly, when every door seems closed, every window tightly fastened, or every pathway is blocked, You make a way. Time and time again, I have seen You do this in my life when I live in total surrender to You. So once again, I lay every aspect of my life at Your feet, giving You complete and total control ________ (take time to thoughtfully do this). What a relief! What freedom from fear and anxiety. I am so very grateful to start my day hidden in you.

Dear Heavenly Father…I am Yours! The power of Your grace and truth continually set me free from the lies of the enemy, my own shortcomings, and all my guilt when I blow it! I ask for the Holy Spirit's overflow in my soul to continually transform me from the inside out. Dear Lord Jesus…With the world absolutely coming unglued, You are the glue that keeps me together! Oh, Your faithfulness in my life astounds me. Even in those situations that I didn’t understand at the time, You were in the midst of it all. As I surrender to you today, I pray that the Holy Spirit will aid me as I intercede for this situation ______ (name it). I know that as I pray what I know, pray what I am sensing, and pray in the Holy Spirit, You will guide my words. You alone are my fortress! And in Your Magnificent Name, I pray, Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...I begin this day with my heart quiet, my mind stilled (yes....do this), and with hands lifted. In You alone I have found purpose and meaning for each day, joy overflowing, and Holy Spirit strength and power no matter what my circumstances are. Today, I pray for those in my circle of influence who are struggling with their emotions or their mental state _______ (name them). I declare Your name, Lord Jesus, over each of them, binding any spirit of darkness that may be tormenting them. Dear Lord Jesus...During this autumn season, I pray for laborers in the harvest field to bring many to Your embrace, and may I be one of those laborers, too. When wars, politics, and opinions would distract me from those around me who need Your touch, please may the Holy Spirit’s overflow in my life and keep my eyes open and my spirit soft to His impressions regarding those in need. I am Yours, Lord. I genuinely look forward to this day as You overwhelm my being with Your presence and joy. I am ready! In the Name Above All Names, King Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father...Thank you for relieving all my concerns and fear of the future. Honestly, when my eyes, mind, and heart are focused upon You and the authority of Your Word, all fear flees! Glory to Your name for the rest I find in You, especially in these turbulent times of weather, politics, finances, and health. Because Your Holy Spirit who indwells me is greater than he who is in the world, Your peace beyond understanding is my portion, and joy and power overflowing my life rules my days. Thank You, Father! Dear Lord Jesus…I find such rest in You and Your Word. When You say that You will do all the heavy (and light!) lifting in my life if I simply let go my cares and trust You, You have never failed to come through! How many times have I gotten in Your way, delayed Your plans, or disrupted them altogether, simply because I think I know what is best? Far too many times. Today, and every day, I choose You. I lay my burdens down, trust you to open and close doors, and give me discernment in every situation. I am ready! In Your Name, Which is Filled with All Grace, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I am so grateful for Your healing power! Dear Lord Jesus...With all the crazy weather, wars around the world, political unrest, and plain old living life, I am so thankful for the refreshing I find in the felt presence of the Holy Spirit Who indwells me. Your living waters never fail to flourish when I am surrendered to You, and I choose to trust You rather than to cave in to worry or anxiety. Oh, how I love what You are doing in my life! I can’t thank You enough for setting me from the bondages, struggles, addictions, and behaviors that once overwhelmed me. I am far from perfect, but You have brought me so very far. Dear Lord Jesus…How grateful I am that You are with me, and You dwell within me. All fear is erased in Your presence, and I ask today to be someone who helps strengthen others who are in fearful places in their lives. The whole world is going through so much, and hatred and violence abound. Instead, Lord, love everyone through me, reaching everyone with Your mercy and grace. Please help me to see those in my city who are precariously in the margins. I pray for insight regarding how to reach these folks in both a practical and supernatural way. Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus…In a world where evil and violence abound, Your grace is enough! Yes, the effective working of Your all powerful grace through the Holy Spirit fills me to overflowing, gives me abilities beyond my natural limitations, provides for all I need, and resources me to live in freedom from guilt and the stuff that once held me so tightly. Today, may I be a gift of Your grace to everyone I meet. I make myself available for you to work through to bless, encourage, or pray for healing for those I know and those I don’t. I am ready…all because of Your grace. I seal this prayer in Your Gracious Name, Lord Jesus. Amen!
