Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Lord Jesus…How grateful I am that my soul rests safely in Your presence. No matter what the storms of life bring, the Holy Spirit overwhelms my thoughts and emotions with Your peace that passes understanding. Today, I pray for these areas in my life that I have not surrendered yet to Your control ______ (name them carefully). As I release them into Your Almighty care and take my hands off them, I stop obsessive thinking or worry and the pretension of thinking I know what the best outcome is. Yes, indeed, Your felt peace is ushered in. I rest in You completely today. In Your Name Above All Names, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Prayer - January 6, 2024

Morning Moment of Prayer… 

Dear Lord Jesus…You alone are my Rock. When I steadfastly stand in Your presence, Your Spirit causes me to remain firm in Your embrace even when it seems like everything is shaking around me. Today, I ask to receive a fresh word from Your Word for my current circumstances ______ (name them). I also pray to speak Your love over someone’s life today, whether it be a prayer for healing, deliverance, encouragement, or salvation. Your agape love is beyond compare, so deep and so wide, may it flow through me to bless someone else today. In Your Incomparable Name, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer… 

Dear Lord Jesus…I begin this first week of the new year with my eyes set upon You. I worship and adore You and place the full gaze of my attention upon Your face. You rule. You reign. I lift up these areas of my life that I am waiting upon Your perfect timing this year __________ (name them). Know that waiting in the Bible actually means drawing so close to You that my heart is bound to Yours, I wait with Holy Spirit joy and in His power to sustain and work miracles. Let this day begin! In Your Wonder-Full Name I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Prayer - January 4, 2024

Morning Moment of Prayer... 

Dear Lord Jesus...Lead my day! I come humbly into Your presence, excited and energized by the Holy Spirit for this brand new day in this brand new year. I recognize all my faults and failings, but I am clothed in Your spiritual armor, and I trust Your continued work in my life. Because You have done so much for me, today, I battle pray for these folks that are struggling emotionally  ________ (take time to name them, and what you sense they are going through). I pray to be an encourager and a light to their lives. Please help me to know when to speak and when not to speak to them. I surrender all! In Your Majestic Name, I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus... How grateful I am that You have not left me defenseless in this world! I recognize that Your Word tells me that my battles are not with any person, but they are spiritual prayer battles that affect physical outcomes. So today, may I continue to begin this New Year walking in Your agape love towards every person, yes, every single person I encounter. And as Your Holy Spirit leads me, I want to battle pray for them in the power of your Name. May Your kingdom come and reign in every circumstance! In Your Name Above All Names, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Prayer - January 2, 2024

Morning Moment of Prayer… 

Dear Lord Jesus…I know that no matter what this day or what this new year brings my way, You have me covered. You are living inside of me and walking with me through every day. There is nothing that I will face that You aren’t the answer for. So, Lord, I set my heart on You and Your kingdom. I will not look to the right or the left or for any person to save me, except You. I give up my preconceived thoughts about this new year and invite Your Holy Spirit to completely take over. Because when I seek Your kingdom first, everything else falls into place. In Your Majestic Name, I pray, King Jesus. Amen!

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Dear Lord Jesus…In this moment of quiet, I sense Your Holy Spirit overwhelming my life, bringing peace to me from the inside out. I trust Your timing Lord in these matters of concern _______ (name them) and these issues taking place in the world _______ (name them, too). I choose to wait upon You expectantly as Your Word states and I know that You know exactly what needs to happen in these areas and in these lives. You have perfect timing, and I am more than willing to trust You and surrender these situations to Your powerful care. In Your Wonderful Name, King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer... 

Dear Lord Jesus...I open my heart to You in this quiet moment before my day begins. I am still recuperating from the Christmas celebration, but You are right here with me in this moment. How grateful I am that while my circumstances and the world around me is constantly changing, You remain changeless, matchless, boundless, and Lord of All. May I walk in Your perfect will today, being led by Your Spirit every step of the way. Pour through me to bring Your healing, encouragement, deliverance, and love all in the authority of Your Beautiful Name, King Jesus. Amen!

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God...

Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father…I am beyond blessed to be Your loving child. What You have done for me has far exceeded my hopes, dreams, and prayers. I am nothing, but in You, I am more than a conqueror through Your immeasurable love. Today, as I move from this time in Your presence and look forward to the coming new year, I pray for strength to guard my thoughts. I cast those thoughts down that are not from You but are from my flesh, the world, or the enemy, and I bring them captive to You. Cover me, O Lord. My expectation is from You alone. In the Exquisite Name of Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus...How grateful I am that you came for me! As families gather all around the globe to celebrate your birth, I pray that Your felt presence through the Holy Spirit will touch many hungry hearts. Please tell them that there is more to this life than just facing another day, trying to survive, or securing their future. I pray, especially for those in war-torn areas on both sides of every conflict, that multitudes will come to you by simply asking. I pray for peace. And, once again, I can’t thank You enough for everything, yes, everything You have done for me. Such healing emotionally, mentally, and physically, and such provision for my every longing and need. Happy Birthday Lord Jesus! I love You. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus…I quiet my heart before You in the stillness of this moment. I know that I am in Your presence, Almighty God. And in this quiet time, I am completely reminded that nothing is too difficult for You. Nothing is impossible. So instead of bringing You my laundry list of prayer requests, I choose to remain quiet before You and let Your Holy Spirit breathe His life into me. I open Your Word with joy, and I know that You hold me in Your hand and that all my concerns are already taken care of because You are my God. In the Most Beautiful Name in the World, King Jesus. Amen.

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...With each day’s headlines, our weary world is growing darker by the day. And then I think of those I care about who are in challenging circumstances, too. Today, as I worship and adore You, I am so grateful for the Holy Spirit’s power and ability to fill my soul and spirit with overwhelming hope. Not just the hope of Christmas but hope in Your finished work on the cross and the power of Your resurrection. May I be a blessing to any who feel hopeless today, as You overflow my life. In Your Name of Extraordinary Hope, King Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus…You reign over this Christmas season celebrating Your birth. Before I start any activity today, I simply desire to be grounded and centered on You. I pray for Holy Spirit grace to guard my emotions and the strength of Your Word to hold my every thought captive to You. So, when impatience wants to needle its way into my soul, I will remain in Your felt joy instead. Or, if any thought that doesn’t glorify You comes knocking, I will cast it at Your feet and let Your Spirit prevail. I am Yours! In Your Name, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus... The days are flying by this month as we countdown to celebrating Christmas. I pray that all of the remaining days will be filled to overflowing with testimonies of Your goodness. Lord, You have given me so much and I pray to be a vessel that You pour through to reach others with Your love and grace. I want to be sensitive to everyone around me, have overwhelming patience, and truckloads of grace to pour into other’s lives in Your name. Today, I hand over to you these concerns _______ (take time to do this). I trust You completely. In Your Name of Counselor, King Jesus, I pray. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father…Today I lift up before Your throne those folks who are struggling around the world due to weather conditions, pandemic, war, or injustice. In particular, I name these people and situations that I am aware of and that are upon my heart ________ (name them). You are the God of the impossible! Time and again, You have done wonderful and impossible things for me, and I can’t worship You enough, especially during this season celebrating Your birth. Lord, I believe for the impossible and rest my trust fully upon Your love and Word today. In Your Superlative Name, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I am so grateful that You came! Your rescue mission to save us has brought me such joy, peace, and purpose. You have changed my world from upside down to right side up. Everything about Your Holy Spirit living in me has been so freeing and delivering. I ask you to please continue Your deep dive into my thoughts and emotions to bring continued wholeness and healing that I can turn around and extend to others during these days leading up to celebrating Your birth. I am Yours! In the Name of the One and Only, King Jesus. Amen!

Dear Lord Jesus…I start today in Your presence. I have no other hope or joy that compares with You! I pray to be a blessing to every single person I meet, work with, friends, or family members. So many are in dire need of fresh hope and power that only You can supply. I cancel every spirit of anxiety, in Your powerful name Lord Jesus, over these lives who are struggling ________ (name them). I choose to walk by your Word and Holy Spirit power as I go about my day. Morning Moment of Prayer…

Dear Heavenly Father… At the start of this day and this week, I can already feel the busyness of the season. At work, home, school, and in the marketplace, I can tell the pace of the holidays is picking up for everyone. In the midst of the crazy, I choose to stay anchored in the Holy Spirit. I will only do these things that He directs me to do and the have-to’s at work and home, well, I know He will guide me all the way, and all I need to do is prioritize my schedule with time alone with You at the top of my list. I am Yours, Lord, and may everything I say and do today bring You glory. In the All-Powerful name of King Jesus. Amen!

Morning Moment of Prayer...

Dear Lord Jesus...As the day begins and the all the hurry of the holidays comes, I make a choice to put Your first above everything. Work, school, marketplace, the news—and for goodness’ sake—my phone all want to distract my gaze and priority of seeking You and Your kingdom first. I ask today, to be a total blessing to someone. Whether I can lend a hand, a dollar, or a time of prayer for those you bring my way, I ask to be discerning as to what You are up to in that moment. I am ready. And You are first! In Your Name, Immanuel, King Jesus. Amen!
